 We believe that Christian Women Connection will be the next step for women's ministry in the Church of God, which began with a few women recognizing the need to support mission around the world. Their hard work and determination educated the church, championed missions and created a place for women. We are taking the next step and building on the firm foundation laid by our foremothers and we need your help.
 
Christian Women Connection is about connecting: connecting to God, connecting to women, and connecting to service. Join us in our Connect One Campaign.
 
Save one dollar for every week of the year for Christian Women Connection. That one dollar is a connection to women’s ministry in the Church of God. It’s a connection to women around the world. It’s a connection to service opportunities and resources. It’s a connection that brings us, women in the Church of God, together to reach others for Christ. 
 
Connect One Challenge:
In addition to your financial commitment, commit to growing your group by one woman this year. Get to know her, become friends—maybe even pay her partnership for her first year so that she receives the national Connection newsletter!  
 
You are integral to the success of the Christian Women Connection.

The Hunger Fund (2008-2009)

Thousands of people have the basics of life—food, clothing, and shelter—because of the Women of the Church of God Hunger Fund. Established in 1975, the fund has provided over $350,000 in direct aid.

 

  • Sewing shops, lessons, and machines
  • Corn grinding mills
  • Fish farms
  • Rubber plantations
  • Water wells
  • Bath houses
  • Knitting and weaving machines
  • Food and medical assistance in response to disasters emergencies
  • Grants to Bread for the World

 

Women of the Church of God is still committed to responding to the needs of people around the world. There is still work to be done that can be accomplished through the Hunger Fund. The funds are depleting and it is time to replenish the fund so that more people can know the Lord’s Favor
