The statistics are sobering. Approximately 91 out of every 1,000 children born in developing nations will die before they reach five years of age. Many of those who do survive are faced with a life of hunger, fear, and hopelessness.  Children of Promise, the Church of God child sponsorship program, is committed to changing that picture.
