A journal that includes daily meditations, questions for reflection, scripture and prayer guides, and a place to journal your thoughts is also available.
What resources are available for my church?

This packet will help you consider what you need to prepare for leading your church through the journey. It will also contain a list of the resources available to enhance your journey. Why should our church participate in the Christ's Birthday Observance?
Answer: The Christ's Birthday Observance is meant to bring focus upon Christ during this season which is often filled with busyness, holiday shopping, and constant Christmas commercialism. The Observance is designed to journey closer to God while coming closer to each other. This is done through church services, family prayer, personal devotion, and study.
One unique feature of the Christ's Birthday Observance is an offering that is collected the Sunday before Christmas as a gift to the Christ Child. The money collected in the Christ's Birthday Offering supports the ministries of the Church of God. Through this offering, the church reaches out past their walls into the lives of others across the country and around the world.
